The 2019 Ekuinas Malaysian Private Equity Forum successfully took place in Kuala Lumpur on October 1. The event bought together over 360 private equity professionals including 65+ LPs representing over 125 different organizations from 10 countries.
The conference, which focused on current trends and opportunities in the private equity space in Malaysia and across the ASEAN region, was kicked off by an opening address by Anthony Scaramucci, Founder and Co-Managing Partner, Skybridge Capital, and featured leading executives from TPG, OTPP, KWAP, Affinity Equity Partners and Navis Capital Partners speaking on a number of selected and well-researched topics including ‘How private equity can help companies expand across ASEAN and beyond’, ‘LPs’ views on private equity investments in ASEAN’, and ‘Capitalising on the potential in Malaysian private equity’.
